Mile High Football League is looking for players for our spring football league…

Now that two seasons been played don’t miss our 2011 spring season as we bring Youth Tackle Football to the Denver metropolitan communities. Players are placed on teams based on residency or on teams nearest their city.

For the 2011 season we'll be offering two divisions, Division I for competitive teams and a Division II for recreational teams. Competitive teams are formed by individual coaches or associations who select their own players and provide their own equipment. Individual Registering Players may try out for an MHFL area competitive team. Recreational teams are formed by the league with players registering as Individuals will be placed on teams in their city or city nearest them. Independent recreational teams may register to play in our recreational division.

A playoff system will be in effect to determine the metropolitan’s Super Bowl champions in Division I and II.

Mile High Football League Youth Vision:

Our vision is for a child’s ENJOYMENT of the game; that what's important to the children! When the game ceases to be fun, it ceases to be a game.

Mile High Football League is for youth 2rd through 11th grade who wish to participate in full contact football in a fun and positive environment in the spring season. We believe in the competition of the game, but without the undue stress placed on winning. We work very hard on encouraging participation, teaching fundamentals and focusing on the spirit of the game. Win or lose, Mile High Football League places its focus on improving the skill levels of each child while installing good sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and confidence.

Season: Practices start the week of March 14th. Games start April 2rd and conclude with the Super Bowl and selected bowl games by June 4 or 5, 2011. Season consists of six or seven league games scheduled and 1-2 playoffs games to be played during weeknights and weekends. The season, including league and playoffs, will consist of a eight game season.

Registrations: Cost is $150.00 (less $25.00 discount for additional sibling). All registrations, including Individual Registering Players and Team Registering Players, may be done on-line or by mail.
